Over the years in Havasu
From 1969-1972 Bobbi Johnson (Holmes) traveled to high
school via boat, across Lake
Havasu. The daily trip was 12 water miles, round
trip, and she captained the boat herself. The local newspaper wrote a
feature article on her unusual school journey, and included the above photo
